NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health and Safety Practice
The Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice is the UK’s premier vocational qualification specifically designed for health and safety professionals who wish to attain Chartered status of IOSH (CMIOSH) through a practical evidence based qualification instead of the examination based NEBOSH Diploma academic route.
The course is intended for people that want to forge a career in health and safety – for example as a health and safety advisor, manager or consultant. You will almost certainly be carrying out activities stated in the unit standards already and the NVQ Level 5 Diploma route requires you to produce evidence to demonstrate your competence in these areas.
The qualification meets the academic requirements for Graduate Membership (Grad IOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). With further experience and initial professional development (IPD), Chartered Safety Practitioner (CMIOSH) status can then be attained.
